Hymettian marble. Found in packing for east end of long east-west wall, near southwest corner of the Odeion; context ... 6 August 1947
The fragment comes from near the bottom of the proper right corner, preserving a little of the snaky body and a little of the lateral molding on the back of the pier.
Both body and molding were left rough ... 14 August 1947
With dentils. One end, which bears anathyrosis, and bottom partly preserved. Other end picked and broken. Evidence of a lewis hole on top. Very poor workmanship.
