Broken all around. Two joining fragments from open pot or bowl with upper wall slightly inclined and flaring lip. On upper wall, a wreath of large leaves in added white; two incised lines above and below ... 23 May 1949
From a large bowl? Part of the rim preserved. Below, moulded conventional ornament; above, a wreath painted in alternating white and buff over black glaze.
