... The angles of the volutes are filled with partial palmettes of which the petals are painted. Abundant stains left by painted ornament, leaf pattern on cyma reversa, maeander on fillet, egg and dart on ovolo, petals on palmettes. Note also three concentric circles on eyes of volutes. |
