Preserved is part of the steep wall, the moulded stem, and a little of a spreading foot.

About half preserved, to below the collar; broken approximately along the line of the mould.
Gouged style; no trace of glaze or color.
Pale buff clay.

Legs of two figures running, passing each other in opposite directions. Painted brown with heavy outlines against buff ground. When found, ... 21 April 1932 ... New Grid: I 10; Eponymoi, cut E, Great Drain footing trench, layer V; Nb. p. 1826. ... c) Additional fragment, non-joining (ΟΕ 272), from Metroon Pit, north extension, layer VI, from container 129, Nb. p. 432. The votive deposit at the foot of Areopagus, from which came the other fragments (P 576, ΣΤ 537) lies 150m. to the south. 22 March 1938 [P.H. 0.065; P.W. 0.05].
