Two non-joining wall fragments. Streaky blackish brown glaze on inside. Max. dim. a) 0.064, b) 0.051.
Musical contest. Fragment a preserves an aulos-player (most of head, lower part of garment, and feet ... Ca. 430-420 B.C ... Fragment b shows the head and shoulders of a man, probably seated (he looks upward) to left, facing the musician. Around his head is a fillet with three spikes; over his shoulder, a himation. |
