Four different uses: first as an inscribed stele; second as a threshold, the back was cut down ca. 0.03m. and is heavily worn; a band was left along the edge as the door stop; third period of use in a bothros, the surface of whole left edge, front and back, for as much as 0.13m, is eaten away by acids, and at the front the text is completely lost; fourth use, in modern wall, where found.

| The bowl stands on a small ring foot. The inner edge of the lip has a scroll pattern bound at top and bottom by two lines. The scroll is not continuous, but made up of individual units, which sometimes ... 6 March 1935 ... Bothros well. |

Fragment Ζ 749 a), broken all round.
The inscribed surface has a horizontal convex curve. Near the center of the fragment is a stele (?) carved in outline.
Fragment ΚΚ 213 b), broken ... 180-192 A.D ... a) (Ζ 749), found in a late wall, east of the Propylon to the New Bouleuterion.

| Broken at left; smooth worn back with large shallow cutting and battered underside of jaw uncertain, may be original; face much battered, upper jaw entirely missing.
Head of Lion, facing front, with wide ... Ca. 570-550 B.C ... Streaks of black stain across the face, and across breaks, probably from acid stain (bothros) rather than fire; note similar stain in adjacent fill; no certain traces of red on hair.
