Almost straight sides; top is flat near the edge. Deep groove around filling hole at some distance from it. Two shallow rills around edge of top.

Jewelled cross on discus; herringbone on rim. High knob handle. Raised ring on underside, with rib to base of handle.
No glaze.
Light reddish-brown clay, buff at surface.

Discus, plain; rim, plain; handle, unpierced, three grooves above, two below. Reverse badly worn, but apparently plain with two circular grooves.
