Bakalakis in AK 14, 1971, pp. 74--83. ... The striking points of similarity are the departing warrior and his companion (AK 14, 1971, pl. 28:3) and the lacings of the boots of the warrior who stands behind the horseman (pl. 25:3). Beazley, in an oral communication reported by Bakalakis (AK 14, 1971, p. 76), saw the stylistic relationship with the Talos Painter, and Bakalakis (p. 77) pointed to specific details on the namepiece and on 388.
