H. 0.103; diam. of rim 0.29; diam. of tondo 0.113; ... Ca. 510-500 B.C ... His opponent (nude but for Corinthian helmet and greaves) runs away, looking back, his spear held high, his round shield (device: bull's head) held out. ... The next youth (most of head, shoulders, left arm missing) leans to right, spear held with its point downward, shield (device: probably a bull's head shown frontally) in profile. The last youth wears a cloak and has a round shield (device: bull's head) partly overlapped by the restored handle.

Two groups of joining fragments and three non-joining belonging to the right half of a small pediment in high relief representing a lion attacking a bull. Presumably the other half contained another lion ... Ca. 500-490 B.C. (?) ... Slope cannot be precisely determined because erosion of break surface between the two top fragment makes join wobbly. Shows head of lion biting rump of bull and two paws grasping it. Bull's legs broken away. Traces of bright blue paint on bull's body. b) Three joining fragments preserve bottom and back of slab and part of lion's tail. c) Fragment preserving bottom and back of slab and part of curved form. d) Fragment with part of lion's body; back preserved but eroded. e) Fragment with mane-locks; position on lion uncertain.

Around her head is a stephane.

Fragment b shows the left hand of the youth, which is gripping the bull's horn, and the face and outstretched right arm of the woman. ... He holds a torch in his left hand, as does the youth behind him (head, shoulders, right arm missing), who stands beside an ithyphallic herm decorated with a kerykeion.

It preserves a youth (head, left shoulder and arm, right knee and most of right foot missing), kneeling to left, torso in back view, a club in his right hand. ... Dilute glaze: muscles; folds of flesh on bull's neck. Red: wreaths; leaves of trees; hearts of palmettes; edge of each handle flange; band on inside below rim and at bottom of neck, line at outer and inner edge of rim and top side of spiral.
