Joins with SS 3811 giving both handles of jar. This group (SS 3784-87; SS 3790-3813; SS 3901; P 5524-5536) ... 17 April 1935 ... This footing trench is 1.00m. wide on the west and 0.73m. on the north, except just as the corner where the north cutting widens to ca. 1.00m. ... In addition to the catalogued objects there are tins and trays of sherds, the majority similar coarse ware. None of the few glazed bits found need be later than the early third century.

The neck is pushed in by handles at the top, there giving an aval rather than a circular opening. Upper parts of both handles preserved.
Light red clay with some mica in it, and traces of thin slip.
