| Description: | A female figure, preserved from above navel to below knees. Nude but for a cloak which is thrown carelessly around her legs, leaving her left leg uncovered, and pulled tightly over her right, disclosing the leg beneath. With her left hand she holds up one end of the drapery in front, the other end was probably thrown over her left arm. She stands with her weight on her left leg. The right is slightly forward and bent at the knee. The marble is highly polished. Island marble. Cf. S 734 (Τ 538). Cf. Hesperia 81 (2012), p. 338, n. 152. | |
