Title:   Statuette Base: Herakles

Description:   The lower part of a statuette of Herakles, resting on a stump over which is draped a lion skin. Both feet, part of the left leg and left hand holding the lion skin, are preserved. The weight is on the right foot, which is drawn back slightly. In the left leg are traces of iron, possibly a repair.
Pentelic marble.
