Title:   Statuette of Draped Standing Female Figure
Category:   Sculpture
Description:   Statuette of which head, feet, right arm below elbow, and left hand, are missing.
The draped female figure is standing with weight on left leg, the right leg bent at the knees. Her right arm hangs by her side; in her left she carries a cornucopia. A lock of hair falls over each shoulder, and traces of hair may be seen at the back. She wears a chiton and over it an himation which crosses the lower part of the body, in front, in heavy folds. It is caught up under the left arm, which seems to rest on some object over which fall the folds of the himation.
Possibly the statuette represents Demeter. Workmanship is mediocre.
Pentelic marble.
