| Description: | Preserves base with upper and lower moldings blocked out on front and proper left. Sketchy on proper right, no moldings on back. Figure broken off above ankle level. Left foot broken off. The figure, probably female, stands with weight on right leg. She wears shoes. The full skirt (peplos of chiton) falls to the plinth all around. A raw drill-channel between drapery and base behind the left foot gives the impression that the piece is unfinished. Fine-grained white marble. | |
