Title:   Statuette Fragment: Apollo

Description:   Broken at neck, left shoulder, right upper arm and from below chest to lower back.
Two long curly tresses on either side of neck fall onto upper chest in front and form a spreading pattern on the back. Drapery on back falls diagonally across beneath shoulder blades. Left arm raised.
Surface well polished.
Represent perhaps Apollo, or maybe Dionysos.
Fine-grained white marble.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   From loose fill beneath basement floor of house 645α/14 (645a/14).
