Title:   Statuette Fragment: Draped Female Torso

Description:   Preserved from neck to a little above knee. Right arm missing from shoulder. Left shoulder broken away.
Back left plain, uppermost part broken away. At left side, left hand seems to have held something, which crossed the body diagonally down, perhaps simply a fold of the drapery. Hand (?) free of body, and drapery can be seen between, above and below the fold (?).
Figure seems to be dressed in chiton with himation over it from left shoulder wound diagonally around body. Poor work.
Pentelic marble.
ADDENDA Perhaps a Kore holding torch (AS 1997).
