Title:   Statuette Fragment: Nude Female

Description:   Figure preserved from just below the waist to a little above left knee and below right knee. She leans forward slightly from the hips and the left leg is brought a little forward.
Diagonally across the body, traces of the right arm with the hand resting in the left thigh at its top; this has been chipped away more or less completely, the forearm just above the wrist being all gone.
Variation perhaps of Aphrodite Pudica, though the gesture is not quite typical.
Well modeled, surface carefully finished especially in the front.
Pentelic marble.
