Broken edges at bottom, but hole for attachment indicates that this piece was made separately and is almost complete as preserved; edges of top broken away; handle, which did not rise to top, broken away behind. Smooth top surface with shallow depression in center. Low relief decoration: palmettes and scrolls. Pentelic marble. | |
