Title:   Statuette Fragment: Aphrodite Pudica Type
Category:   Sculpture
Description:   The figure is preserved from the waist to just above the knees; the left arm, which rested on the hip and held the drapery in front, is broken away, but traces of its attachment remain.
The figure is of the type of Aphrodite Pudica, with drapery slipping down round her legs and caught up in front. The work is of the crudest; there is practically no attempt at modeling or indication of drapery at the back; in front the treatment is summary.
Pentelic marble.
