| Description: | Leaf medallion and calyx, with Satyr masks. Part of medallion and lower wall preserved. Medallion: Two rows of small ribbed leaves enclosed by a groove and row of beading carelessly made. Calyx: Very small ribbed leaves between the large leaves of the row above. Between the dips, masks. In four places irregular "protuberance" due to defects in the mould. Clay: Red, buff. Glaze: Red glaze somewhat peeled inside and out, fired black on the edge inside. | |
