| Description: | I. Part of a nude figure, right, grasping a horse's tail in his right hand. A moulded ring at the junction of the plate floor and rim, and a groove at the outer edge of the rim. One suspension hole preserved. On the rim, just above the junction with the floor, dotted egg pattern; on the outcurving face, olive wreath with large fruits, once white. On the outer vertical face, a groove above, egg pattern below. Partial black outlines, apparently coarse relief contour. Glaze dull; grayed and mottled. Underside black; ring foot, reserved groove at both junctions inside and outside. | |
