Title:   Red Figure Krater Fragment
Description:   Two wall fragments, (a) from near the top: a bit of reserved bands along the upper edge, inside.
a) The head of a youth, left, and the arms and a bit of the brow and hair of a figure, right, who holds a laurel wreath above the youth's head. Two white ornaments in the head of the crowning figure (Nike); in the field, above the wreath, part of an inscription in faded white: ΚΑΙ (καλοσ ?)
b) Part of the torso of a youth, nude save for a scarf over his right arm. He stands facing, and holds a staff in his left hand. Above, at the left, part of a white object.
Relief contours, somewhat finer on a) than on b); the two pieces are associated on the basis of fabric and glaze.
Context:   a) Below Great Wall.
