| Title: | Black-glazed Saucer | |
| Description: | One side broken off. Graffito on the outside, in the concave portion. It probably extended entirely around the pot. After purchase. Slightly more than half of saucer preserved. One name may have filled up the rest but it would have to contain 10-12 letters besides the E it would presumably begin with. Quite possible, and the long space between the omega of 'Dikaio' makes it quite likely that the next letter begins the inscription. Feminine name - parallel? Shape of Olynthus 1042 For the name see Bechtel, .... Personennamen, p.135 Clay: fine reddish; black glaze. | |
