| Description: | Deep, nearly straight-sided body; narrow flat lip; low ring foot. At one side, close below rim, two pierced holes for hanging. Black glaze inside and out. Incision used to define bands on outside. Outside wall, a band of ivy leaves in white, between two broad purple bands. Two narrow purple bands half way down inside; two more outlining the bottom. Three rings in purple on underside of foot. Fine pink clay, partly fired gray. Glaze thin, but fair quality. | |
