Title:   Black Glaze Kantharos

Description:   Many joining fragments, preserving about three quarters of kantharos; missing both handles and parts of body and rim. High molded foot with scraped groove. Bevelled resting surface, reserved, with light groove toward inner edge. Cone on underside, central nipple. Convex lower body, upper body slightly concave, with flaring, slightly thickened rim. Opposed red slip olive garland overpainted in white on upper body.
Fine orange-buff clay.
