Title:   Black Glaze Lid

Description:   Four fragments preserve knob and small adjacent parts of lid; none of rim extant. Domed lid. Knob consists of short stem and disk top; the latter is slightly thickened and rounded at its upper edge; its upper surface is slightly concave. The knob at its base is enclosed by a low flat band. Interior unpainted. Extant exterior of lid in black glaze. The sides of the disk top are in black glaze, otherwise the knob is reserved. The base of the stem is encircled by a band of applied red.
