Title:   Black Glaze Plate with Rouletting: Type D and Stamped

Description:   Fragments of rim missing and chips from foot; restored in plaster. Small plate on wide slightly rounded ring foot. Floor flat, surrounded by slightly raised rolled rim; profiled outer wall. On the floor, seven interlaced stamped palmettes, around two small grooved circles, surrounded by a wide band of fine rouletting.
Very good glaze over all.
Context:   "Foundry Pit", N-S cut on 50m. line, area of Stoa, layer VII, with slag. Second quarter of 4th. c. B.C.
