| Description: | Fragment from the heavy out-curving rim of a large plate. The edge is rolled; there is a heavy half-round outside, at junction of rim and bowl, and a small ridge inside. Rim carries a band of tongues, black and purple, black and reserved. Rolled edge and ridge inside are purple, as well as wall of plate outside, below half-round. The latter is glazed. Pinkish-buff clay; glaze brownish. | |
