Herakles (forearms and hands, legs from mid-thigh down and both feet missing) standing frontally, wreathed head turned to left. He faces someone, probably Athena, who holds out a phiale (most of vessel, part of hand). On the right, at the break, part of his club held in his left hand, now missing. On rim, egg pattern.
