Herakles (forearms and hands, legs from mid-thigh down and both feet missing) standing frontally, wreathed head turned to left. He faces someone, probably Athena, who holds out a phiale (most of vessel, part of hand). On the right, at the break, part of his club held in his left hand, now missing. On rim, egg pattern. Preliminary sketch. Dilute glaze (very faint): muscles.
