Krater Or Plate.

Fragment of rim.

Flaring rim with overhanging lip, broad groove on top. Ovolo stamped on edge, with cable above. Soft, fine, fairly micaceous, gray/light gray fabric (10YR 6/1); glaze mottled from dark gray to brown (2.5Y N3/--10YR 5/3).

Fabric close to that of 1598.
