Pitcher Or Amphora.

Four nonjoining parts of upper handle (a), lower handle (b), and rim (c, d).

Widely flaring rim with raised band on inside and stamped ovolo on overhanging lip. Narrow, grooved handle with rotelle at arch. Fine, gray/light gray fabric (10YR 6/1) with a fair amount of fine mica and some white inclusions; hard, shiny dark gray glaze (2.5Y N3/).
