Knob or stem made separately, with two square moldings at base.

Decoration in red glaze: lotus petals with dotted ribs alternate with plain petals on wall. Hard, fine, micaceous, light red fabric (2.5YR 6/6); very pale brown slip (10YR 8/4) on outside only.

Inside unglazed but carefully smoothed.
